July 16, 2024 – (Orlando, Fla.): TMRW Sports, which is focused on building progressive approaches in sports, media, and entertainment that inspire the modern sports fan to create deeper connections with technology and culture, has announced key additions to the company’s senior leadership team with expertise from across the sports, media, and golf industries. All three of these new hires will report to Mike McCarley, TMRW Sports founder and CEO.

TMRW Sports new hires include:

Wendy Caves, Chief People Officer – Wendy is an accomplished Human Resources executive with a robust background in the professional sports industry. She serves as the Chief People Officer at TMRW Sports and brings a wealth of experience and strategic vision to her role.

Prior to joining TMRW Sports, Wendy served as the Senior Vice President of Global Talent & Culture at the LPGA where she was instrumental in reshaping the Human Resources department into a global strategic partner over the course of her ten years of service. She pioneered innovative approaches to talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement while also championing industry-wide initiatives to promote diversity and career opportunities in golf through Make Golf Your Career.

Wendy’s track record of success also includes significant contributions during her seventeen-year tenure at the PGA TOUR, where she championed progressive HR practices and led initiatives to foster innovation and collaboration across the organization. As the Director of Human Resources Operations, she was instrumental in developing the team to support the newly created ShotLink technology scoring system, assisting with the TOUR’s workforce expansion abroad, and supporting the evolution of PGA TOUR Entertainment, the television and media distribution division.

Jason Langwell, Chief Revenue Officer – Jason joins TMRW Sports as the company’s first Chief Revenue Officer. His team includes Katy Mollica’s Global Partnerships group and Andrew George’s Live Event and Operations group.

Jason has spent his career creating success for the biggest, blue-chip brands across the sports, entertainment, and lifestyle marketing landscape. He comes to TMRW Sports from Intersport where he joined as an SVP in 2014. During his time there he created explosive growth across Intersport’s consulting, experiential, and hospitality marketing practices. In 2018, he launched Intersport’s Detroit office, serving as Executive Director of the first-ever PGA TOUR event in Detroit, the Rocket Mortgage Classic. In doing so, Jason served as a founding board member of the tournament’s host organization, The Rocket Giving Fund. Shortly after launching the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which became the most-awarded first-year PGA TOUR event in history, he created one of golf’s most innovative DEI platforms, THE JOHN SHIPPEN, an Intersport owned and operated platform that creates access for the top Black men and women golfers to compete for exemptions onto the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour and also provides awareness and opportunities inside the business of sports to students of color.

Most recently, Jason helped to form and launch The World Champions Cup, a first-of-its-kind Ryder Cup style event for PGA TOUR Champions. Following its inaugural year, The World Champions Cup was a finalist nominee for Sports Business Journal Awards’ “Sports Breakthrough of Year.”

Regina O’Brien, Chief Marketing Officer – Regina joins TMRW Sports as its Chief Marketing Officer after serving for the last six months as the company’s interim CMO. An award-winning marketing and communications executive, O’Brien oversees all marketing, communication, and creative strategies for TMRW Sports and TGL presented by SoFi.

TMRW Sports marks O’Brien’s latest branding effort after most recently having served for four years as the head of Marketing and Communications for Augusta National Golf Club. Before her time at Augusta National, Regina headed marketing initiatives for global brands, including more than two decades at Comcast/NBCUniversal, where she oversaw marketing for Golf Channel for 10 years.

Regina played a significant marketing role in several Comcast corporate and network specific initiatives. On the corporate end, Regina was a key member of the marketing team behind the “Comcastic” campaign, which won the ADWEEK “Campaign of the Year,” as well as the Hispanic “Triple Play” initiative that won a “Best in Show.”
